GL James Animation is an independent animation studio based in Brighton, founded by George James.
Specialising in bold character design, stylised worlds, and storytelling-driven animation, GL James creates distinctive 2D and 3D projects for clients who want work that stands out. 

With a background in 3D modelling, video editing, and music production, George uses tools like Krita, Blender, and Sony Vegas Pro to bring original concepts to life - from looping animations and custom avatars to fully realised narrative shorts.

With experience working with content creators, independent brands, and personal commissions, GL James consistently delivers imaginative animation with a focus on strong visual identity and memorable characters. 

George always brings a fresh perspective to his work and is passionate about showing his differences are his creative strength. Outside the studio, George is a devoted animal lover (especially cats), he's also a fan of movies, music, and classic video games. When he gets the opportunity, he can be found skiing, climbing, or exploring nature - all influences which he channels into his work.
